Frequently Asked Questions
What stretch wrap specification is recommended for UAE pallet shipments through Jebel Ali?
For standard pallet loads through Jebel Ali and onward sea freight, 25-micron LLDPE stretch film applied in 5-6 wraps with 50% overlap provides good pallet stability. For heavy or high-value loads, or where pallets will be stacked in a hot container for extended periods, 30-micron film with an additional top wrap gives better security. Pre-stretched film is worth considering if you have high-volume palletising as it reduces operator fatigue significantly.
Do you supply custom-printed packaging boxes in UAE?
For custom-printed corrugated boxes with your branding and product information, we work with printing partners and can arrange supply of custom cartons for manufacturers and consumer goods companies. What packaging material protects ceramic tiles and stone during UAE export?
For ceramic tiles, the standard approach is foam interleaving between tile faces (2mm PE foam), corrugated cardboard box or wooden crate with corner protection, and polystyrene corner inserts at each tile corner. For natural stone slabs, foam surface protection and wooden crating is standard for sea freight. We stock foam rolls and sheets, corrugated pad material, and edge protectors suitable for tile and stone packaging.
Do you stock PP strapping and strapping tools for manual pallet securing?
Yes. We stock PP strapping in 12mm and 16mm widths on standard cores for both hand tensioning tools and machine dispenser units.
