Contact cement (neoprene contact adhesive) is the standard for HPL and formica laminate bonding in UAE. Apply to both surfaces, allow to flash off (5–10 minutes in UAE summer heat — shorter than European data sheets), then bond with firm pressure. The result is an immediate, permanent bond. Flash-off time shortens significantly in UAE summer — do a touch test on the adhesive surface to confirm it is dry-tack but not wet before bonding.

UAE summer temperatures (35–45°C ambient) significantly accelerate cure rates. Epoxy adhesives cure 2–3x faster than at 20°C, shortening working time for large assemblies. Silicone sealants skin faster in heat and humidity but remain flexible after cure. PU sealants cure faster in humidity, which can be an advantage in the UAE. If working time is critical, work in the early morning or choose extended-open-time formulations.

Use neutral-cure, UV-stabilised silicone for all UAE external applications — window perimeters, curtain wall joints, cladding seals, and expansion joints exposed to sun. Acetoxy silicone should not be used on metal substrates as it releases acetic acid during cure, causing corrosion. Structural glazing silicone (high-modulus) is needed for structural glazing applications where the sealant carries loads.

Yes. We stock standard manual cartridge guns for 300ml and 310ml cartridges, professional skeleton guns for high-viscosity structural adhesives, and notched trowels in various tooth sizes for tile adhesive and flooring adhesive applications. Mixing nozzles for two-part cartridge epoxies are also available. Choosing the right thrust-ratio gun for the adhesive viscosity prevents cartridge splitting and inconsistent application.

For chemical bolt anchoring in UAE concrete (common in structural steel connections, balustrade fixing, and equipment anchoring), two-part epoxy cartridge systems (capsule or injection type) are the standard. These fill the annular gap between bolt and drilled hole completely, bonding to both the bolt and concrete matrix. Key specifications for UAE use: temperature rating above 50°C for anchors in direct sun, and humidity tolerance for installation in humid conditions.

Yes. We supply heavy-duty construction adhesive in cartridge format for fixing skirting boards, coving, tile trim, and general site assembly. These are compatible with most dry building materials including plasterboard, wood, concrete, brick, and expanded polystyrene. Apply in beads to the back of the substrate and press firmly into position — most formulations allow adjustment within 10–15 minutes before achieving a full bond.

We supply paper masking tape in 18mm, 24mm, and 48mm widths for line masking during painting operations. For UAE exterior painting — where temperatures cause ordinary masking tape to bond to surfaces and leave adhesive residue — we recommend using UV-resistant masking tape rated for outdoor use and removing it within 24 hours of application to prevent adhesive transfer to the painted surface.
